Yana Chervinska

Yana Chervinska is a womenswear brand established in 2012. The label’s avant-garde collections are a ticket to the fairy realms of Yana Chervinska’s rich fantasy where all things twisted and beautiful merge.


By 2015, Yana Chervinska have produces several own seasonal and capsule collections, took part in both Ukrainian Fashion Week and Mersedez-Benz Kiev Fashion Days, won a dozen of fashion designer contests, and formed a strong vision about her label’s future.

Philosophy

Yana Chervinska is to softly widen the globalized and systemized minds of today’s people, to remind them of the weirdness, beauty and diversity of life.


Design basis

Often girlish and a bit mad at the same time. Clothes are far from being mundane yet most of the time stay ‘normal’ enough to be worn by modern sophisticated women.


Techniques

Merging styles, experiments with forms and cutting, complex couture techniques (felting of merino wool, hand embroidery and knitting etc). Use of natural and traditional fabrics as well as innovative. Love for the new & unexpected: woodcarving, 3D-printing, milky leather, ecological fur, digital art.


Signature designs

Oversized wool coats; assymetrical midi-scirts; printed and embellished dresses; creative accessories.


Eco-friendliness

Many garments are made of 100% natural materials. Not harming the planet during the design process. Use of authentic techniques and handicraft.

Cool, creative, contemporary woman with an urban city lifestyle.

Young or mature, has middle to high income, opts for unique designs from a creative high-end segment.
